O2-500 Headphone Amp V2

OVERVIEW:

In 2011, an engineer known as NwAvGuy introduced the Objective 2 headphone amplifier with one goal in mind, accuracy. It rivals with the most expensive amps you’ll find in mastering studios at a fraction of the cost. Our 500 series version is true to the original circuit, with the exception that it includes two individual amps in a single module!

This headphone amplifier is an ideal fit for studio use, as it can easily drive any headphone while providing the most transparent and low-distortion sound.

NEW IN VERSION 2:

The V2 has been completely redesigned to improve its noise floor and overall technical specifications.

The outputs are now protected by a relay-based muting circuit. After powering up the amplifiers, the headphones are disconnected for 2 seconds to prevent any turn-on "thump", thereby avoiding any damage to your precious headphones.

* The O2-500 uses the output of the 500 chassis to connect the input source of the right channel. Depending on the connections available on your rack, you may require an XLR Female to Female adapter. We have included this option to accommodate buyers. *
